David Zvi Kalman is a PhD student in Penn's Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. Along with his wife Yael, he also works as a Hadar Campus Scholar at Penn, promoting programming in line with the values of Mechon Hadar, a non-denominational, egalitarian yeshiva in Manhattan.
